Location: Hybrid - 3x a week onsite

Role Overview

The AU AP/AR Specialist is responsible for managing day-to-day accounts payable and receivable processes for Australian entities, ensuring accurate financial records, timely payments, and effective collections in compliance with Australian accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices, employee expense claims, and payment runs
  • Manage accounts receivable invoicing, cash receipts, and collections
  • Reconcile AP and AR sub-ledgers to the general ledger
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to supplier and customer enquiries
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue balances
  • Support month-end close activities related to AP and AR
  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and Australian accounting standards

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–4 years of AP/AR experience supporting Australian entities
  • Experience in Acumatica is a huge plus
  • MYOB Advanced or any related experience
  • HubSpot or any related CRM experience
  • Familiarity with Australian billing, invoicing, and payment processes
  • Experience & the capability to use accounting systems (e.g., MYOB, Xero, NetSuite, SAP)
  • Strong Excel and data entry skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
