Role: US AP & AR Specialist (Night Shift)

Location: Hybrid - 3x a week onsite for the first 6 months

Role Overview

The US AP/AR Specialist is responsible for managing day-to-day accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate financial records, timely payments, and efficient collections in compliance with US accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and payment runs
• Manage accounts receivable invoicing, posting, and collections
• Reconcile AP and AR sub-ledgers to the general ledger
• Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to vendor and customer inquiries
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
• Support month-end close activities related to AP and AR
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and US accounting standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in the E-Commerce Industry or any related field
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• 2–4 years of AP/AR experience supporting US entities
• Familiarity with US billing, invoicing, and payment processes
• Experience using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
• Strong Excel and data entry skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a shared services or offshore environment
• Exposure to US tax forms (e.g., W-9, 1099 processing)
• Strong communication skills for vendor and client interactions
