About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team in a full-time, fully remote, fixed day-shift role aligned with Australian business hours.
As an SDR, you will play a key role in driving our sales pipeline by building targeted prospect lists, executing outreach campaigns, and engaging with potential customers. Your efforts will generate qualified leads for the sales team, ensuring consistent prospecting, accurate data management, and timely follow-up. In this role, you will have a direct impact on RocketAMS' growth and success as we continue to scale.
Key Responsibilities
List Building & Research
- Build and maintain highly targeted prospect lists aligned with campaigns and priorities.
- Conduct research and website scraping to ensure lists are accurate, relevant, and well-segmented.
- Manage and refine lead data using Excel, Google Sheets, and other tools to support ongoing outreach.
Campaign Execution
- Create and run outbound campaigns using Instantly, , and HeyReach (training provided if needed).
- Monitor performance metrics such as deliverability, open rates, and response rates, and suggest improvements.
- Optimise messaging, targeting, and workflows to increase engagement and conversions.
Prospect Engagement
- Respond promptly to inbound messages or campaign replies.
- Qualify leads by assessing interest, fit, and opportunity potential.
- Forward qualified leads to the sales team or schedule meetings as needed.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align campaigns with business goals.
- Track outreach activity and provide weekly reports on campaign results, lead quality, and conversions.
- Share insights and recommendations to improve messaging, list quality, and market responses.
Requirements
- Experience or willingness to learn Instantly, , and HeyReach.
- Data-savvy, with strong Excel and Google Sheets skills (formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning).
- Experienced with website scraping and building accurate, targeted lead lists.
- Strong written communication skills, able to adapt messaging to different audiences.
- Comfortable using LinkedIn for research and outreach.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised with excellent list management skills.
- High ownership mindset - proactive, self-driven, and resourceful.
- Able to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a remote setup.
- Reliable internet connection with backup options.
