DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MAJOR:
Manages the entire AR workflow, including customer invoicing, collections, claims processing, CWT certificate collection, and ensuring accuracy of general ledger account, cost center and tax postings.
Prepares AR reports (Billed, Unbilled, Customer SOAs, Collection, DSO) for month-end and year-end close activities.
Ensures ERP entries are compliant with accounting standards and relevant tax regulations.
Implements process improvements and projects in order to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Reviews and approves invoices, SOAs and reports prepared by junior team members.
Serves as the customer masterdata manager and ensures all pertinent customer details are properly uploaded in the ERP.
Serves as the main focal point-person as regards reconciliation of account balances and manages disputes from/towards customers.
Maintains good professional working relationships with Customer representatives
MINOR:
Assist with external and BIR audits and provide necessary documentation
Communicate effectively with internal customers such as other staff, members of management in resolving issues and providing support.
Manage, train, and evaluate AR Supervisors and Associates, ensuring they meet performance standards and follow procedures.
Ensures proper filing of historical documents which are assigned to Accounts Receivable team
Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
License/Certificate: Not required. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Accounting Technician is a plus.
Years of Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or any related field with at least 2-4 years of managerial and/or supervisory experience.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and integrated processes
- Strong accounting knowledge and experience in AR processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of accounting and financial regulations
- Motivates a team and has strong leadership skills
- Strong external and internal customer relationship skills
- Has keen attention to detail and performs detailed review
