Universal Robina Corporation is looking for Finishing Operator (Simlong, Batangas)

The Finishing Operator works as part of the finishing team by following standard operating procedure in the production area to produce high quality products at maximum efficiency of the machine at minimal cost. He also communicates to QA/QC regarding on the defects found in finished goods.

What are the Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Takes responsibility in the operation of any slitting, gluing, doctoring and mini-rewinding machine by setting, adjusting machine parameters, and monitoring its run.
  • Checks machine for any problem and monitor the production run.
  • Conduct online quality checking of slitted FG Rolls (reference: QA/QC Tamu) before submitting samples to QA for inspection and quality improvements.
  • Prepares and accomplishes line clearance checklist per shift.
  • Updates Turn over Logbook for any machine downtime and any production issues encountered in the line.
  • Ensures good running condition of the slitting machine to produce high quality products with minimum waste
  • Accomplishes the Daily Production Report (DPR), ensuring accurate and pertinent data and information are recorded during his shift.

What are the Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 4-years course preferably Bachelor's degree.
  • With 6months-1year relevant experience
  • Knowledge in operating Finishing machines
  • Knowledge in Finishing defect troubleshooting
  • Willing to be assigned in Simlong, Batangas
  • One (1) full-time job is available.
