About the Role

The Email Marketing Specialist role will manage the increasing volume and complexity of customer email communications across the 3 client websites. Working with our Email Marketing Lead and Specialists, the role will include planning and executing email campaigns with a focus on driving sales of our subscription products (customer acquisition), and increased usage of product features after purchase (customer engagement and retention).

Work hours: 8:00 AM - 05:00 PM Philippine Time

Work set-up: Remote

What you'll do

• Execution of sale and x-sell campaigns - Working with our Email Marketing Lead, plan and execute sale and x-sell campaigns to drive increased subscription uptake.
• Execution of engagement campaigns – Working with our Email Marketing Lead, plan and execute engagement campaigns to drive increased usage of our subscription products.
• Develop high quality email creative – Work with our Email Graphic Designer to create beautiful imagery and graphics to drive user action from email.
• Performance reporting – Continuously report on campaign results to ensure key stakeholders are kept up to date.
• Support our Email Marketing Manager in strategy execution – Help plan, build, and execute lifecycle emails, including both acquisition and retention flows.
• This role will support Email marketing channels

What You Bring

• Must have 2+ years of email marketing experience, including HTML code (via editor such as Adobe Dreamweaver or VS Code) (Note: familiarity with drag-and-drop editors alone would be insufficient for this role)
• Must have experience with an email automation platform (such as Braze or Klaviyo).
• Must have exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
• Should have experience with HTML – specifically related to valid HTML for email.
• HTML expertise: Strong knowledge of HTML for email with template editing skills. It's unlikely that you will need to build responsive layouts from scratch but those skills are advantageous.
• Should have knowledge of best practices for email creative, HTML templates, and user segmentation.
• Should have experience writing marketing copy.
• Should have experience with email metrics, analytics and reporting (Mixpanel and/or Microsoft Excel).
• Nice to have experience with graphic design (Adobe Photoshop/Adobe Illustrator).
• Must have a University Degree in related field
