About the role

As Retail Operations Manager at Select Goods', you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the company's retail stores in Calamba City, Laguna. This is a full-time position, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing organisation within the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee the operations of multiple retail stores, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, increase sales, and enhance the customer experience
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of retail staff, ensuring they are motivated and providing excellent customer service
  • Monitor and analyse store-level data, such as sales, inventory, and customer traffic, to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure that the company's products are effectively distributed and merchandised in the retail stores
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and security policies and procedures
  • Proactively identify and address any operational issues or challenges in the retail stores

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (at least 5 years) in a retail operations management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry
  • Proven track record of driving sales, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing the customer experience in a retail environment
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of retail staff
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, management, or logistics
