Property Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Property Engineer to join the team at Pacific Skyloft Residences Condominium Corporation. As a full-time Property Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of our prestigious condominium complex in Sampaloc, Manila City. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our property, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our residents.

What you'll be doing

1. Coordinate and oversee all maintenance activities within the condominium, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to proactively address potential issues
3. Manage and supervise the work of external contractors and service providers
4. Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
5. Respond to and resolve any emergency maintenance issues that arise in a timely manner
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, budgets, and expenditures
7. Collaborate with the property management team to identify and address any resident concerns or complaints
8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the condominium's operations and services

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Property Engineer or in a similar role within the commercial real estate industry
2. Experience in mixed-use developments is required
3. Strong technical knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting building plans, schematics, and technical specifications
5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address complex maintenance issues
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with residents, contractors, and the management team
7. Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
9. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field
10. Electrical Engineering degree is specifically required
11. Valid PRC License is required
