What you'll be doing

  1. Overseeing the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of SMT production lines and equipment
  2. Implementing process improvements to enhance production efficiency and product quality
  3. Developing and validating new SMT manufacturing processes and techniques
  4. Providing technical support and training to production staff
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues
  6. Ensuring compliance with quality standards and industry regulations
  7. Conducting regular preventive maintenance and equipment calibration
  8. Analysing production data and generating reports to drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an SMT Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  3. Proficient understanding of SMT processes, equipment, and related technologies
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve production issues
  5. Excellent technical documentation and report-writing skills
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical information to all stakeholders
  7. Knowledge of quality management systems and lean manufacturing principles
  8. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electronic manufacturing
