Key Responsibilities:

  • Help with ingredient preparation such as slicing vegetables, seasoning meats, and measuring components
  • Assist chefs during cooking and meal assembly under direct supervision
  • Keep kitchen workstations and equipment clean, orderly, and sanitized
  • Properly store food supplies and help track inventory levels
  • Clean and disinfect dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools
  • Follow recipe instructions, portion sizes, and plating standards
  • Comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines (e.g., HACCP, ServSafe)
  • Set up and dismantle kitchen stations before and after service times
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of high school or college (preferred)
  • Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen work is beneficial
  • Familiarity with basic kitchen tools and food safety procedures
  • Ability to follow directions and perform well in a busy environment
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Working Conditions:
