Junior Safety Officer (Fit-Out Construction Projects)

Quezon City | Full-time | Onsite

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Safety Officer to support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across our interior fit-out and construction projects. This role is ideal for candidates looking to grow their safety career in a dynamic, hands-on environment. You will assist in conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and safety inductions while ensuring compliance with company and government safety regulations.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in monitoring daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support the conduct of regular site inspections and help identify potential hazards or unsafe practices.
  • Assist in delivering safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training sessions for workers and subcontractors.
  • Help prepare Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Risk Assessments, and Method Statements (RAMS) for fit-out projects.
  • Maintain safety-related records including inspection reports, incident logs, and corrective actions.
  • Support documentation and compliance requirements, such as safety permits and reports.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness planning and ensure proper safety signage and procedures are in place.

What We're Looking For

  • Graduate of any technical or engineering course (Occupational Safety-related certifications a strong advantage).
  • With at least 1–2 years of HSE experience, preferably in fit-out, commercial, or construction projects.
  • BOSH, COSH, or equivalent safety certification preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced project environment.
  • Proficient in safety documentation and report preparation.
