Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Assistant Cook to support our Head Cook in our central commissary. The ideal candidate will be a key player in our daily food production, ensuring that all meal components are prepared according to our high standards of quality, safety, and taste. This role requires a strong understanding of kitchen operations, have a strong understanding on food safety protocols and commitment to it, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Cook in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to standardized wellness recipes.
  • Perform routine food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces and marinades.
  • Measure ingredients and portion food items accurately to ensure consistency in every batch.
  • Have strong knowledge on Food Safety Standards, and strictly adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards (e.g., proper food storage, temperature control).
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including work stations, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and assisting in receiving and storing supplies.
  • Ensure that all food items are handled and stored correctly to minimize waste and prevent spoilage.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as an Assistant Cook, Line Cook, or a similar role in a professional kitchen or commissary environment.
  • Food Safety Certification: Must have completed Basic Food Safety Training. Please be prepared to present your certificate.
  • Education: Graduate of any course or has reached at least College Level.
  • Location: Must be a current resident of Antipolo, Cainta, or Marikina City. This is a firm requirement for logistical reasons.
  • We are looking for a mature and stable individual for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php22,000.00 per month
