The Product Consultant is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of assigned products, from pre-sales to post-sales ensuring that offerings align with market requirements and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Knowledge:

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the assigned product(s) or brand, including features, benefits, target market, and prevailing market trends.

  • Market Analysis:

Analyze market and segment trends to identify potential growth opportunities and address customer challenges for improved product positioning.

  • Sales Strategy and Revenue Generation:

Collaborate with the technical, marketing, and training teams to design and implement effective sales strategies that consistently meet or exceed performance targets.

  • Customer Support and Relationship Management:

Provide product-related assistance such as licensing, demonstrations, installations, and inquiry handling to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term business relationships.

  • Coaching and Mentorship:

Conduct coaching sessions for junior sales consultants and new hires, sharing best practices and effective selling techniques to enhance team performance.

  • Administrative Tasks:

Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and reports essential for closing deals; monitor sales forecasts; and assess product performance to support continuous business improvement.

Qualifications Needed

  • Must be a graduate of any 4-year bachelor's degree course.
  • With at least 1-3 years of relevant experience in selling, customer service, or account management.
