Job Purpose:

To ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all employees by providing occupational nursing services in compliance with DOLE, DOH, and OHNAP standards; while supporting HR functions such as onboarding, health-related documentation, and employee engagement. The role contributes to a safe and productive work environment by integrating workplace health practices with basic HR administrative support, particularly within a logistics and warehouse operations context.

Main Responsibilities:

Occupational Health Duties:

  1. Provide first aid, emergency care, and initial medical assessment for work-related injuries or illnesses

  2. Coordinate and monitor pre-employment, annual, and return-to-work medical exams

  3. Maintain accurate and confidential employee medical records and logs for DOLE compliance

  4. Implement workplace health and safety protocols (e.g., vaccination, COVID-19 protocols, fatigue management)

  5. Monitor employee health risks related to warehouse and transport operations (e.g., manual handling, shift work)

  6. Coordinate with safety personnel for health-related incident reports and risk assessments

  7. Support clinic maintenance and inventory of medical supplies and PPE

HR Support Duties:

  1. Assist in the onboarding process by ensuring medical clearance and clinic orientation

  2. Track employee sick leaves, medical absences, and coordinate return-to-work procedures

  3. Help maintain and update personnel files, particularly health-related documentation

  4. Support wellness programs, health seminars, and employee engagement events

  5. Liaise with HMO/insurance providers and external clinics as needed

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  1. Registered Nurse (RN) with valid PRC license

  2. OHNAP Certification (Occupational Health Nursing Training)

  3. Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in occupational health, logistics, manufacturing, or related industries

  4. Basic knowledge of DOLE/DOH workplace health compliance standards

  5. Strong organizational and documentation skills

  6. Good interpersonal and communication abilities

  7. First Aid/BLS certification is an advantage

  8. Willing to work on-site and conduct rounds in warehouse or dispatch areas

Key Competences Required:

  1. First Aid & Emergency Response. Ability to provide timely and appropriate first aid or medical intervention on-site.

  2. Occupational Health Assessment. Skilled in conducting health screenings, fitness-for-work evaluations, and identifying work-related health risks.

  3. Regulatory Compliance Knowledge. Familiarity with OHNAP, DOLE, and DOH occupational health standards and reporting requirements.

  4. Health Surveillance & Risk Monitoring. Ability to monitor trends in employee health and recommend preventive measures.

HR & Administrative Competencies

  1. Record Management & Documentation. Accuracy in maintaining employee medical files and HR-related health records.

  2. Onboarding & Return-to-Work Support. Assist in integrating health checks into onboarding and managing return-to-work clearances.

  3. HR Process Awareness. Basic understanding of employee attendance, leave management, and health-related HR policies.

Interpersonal & Behavioral Competencies

  1. Empathy & Confidentiality. Maintains trust and professionalism while handling sensitive employee health issues.

  2. Communication Skills. Can clearly communicate health guidelines, procedures, and wellness initiatives to both staff and management.

  3. Team Collaboration. Works effectively with HR, safety officers, and operations to create a safe and compliant work environment.

Logistics-Specific Competencies

  1. Adaptability in Fast-Paced Environments. Remains calm and responsive in high-pressure logistics and warehousing settings.

  2. Field Readiness & Mobility. Willingness to conduct rounds in warehouses, dispatch zones, and other work areas.

Leadership

  1. Initiative in Health Program Development. Ability to propose or lead employee wellness campaigns, flu vaccination drives, or health-related trainings.

  2. Basic Data Analysis. Can analyze clinic logs or absence data to help identify trends and propose actions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
