Occupational Health Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with OHNAP Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training to join our team. The Occupational Health Nurse will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of employees, providing first aid and emergency care, assisting in the implementation of occupational health programs, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care, first aid, and emergency treatment to employees as needed.
  • Conduct health assessments, medical evaluations, and monitor employees' health status.
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of occupational health programs, including health surveillance and wellness initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE, DOH, and other regulatory requirements related to occupational health and safety.
  • Support the company's health and safety programs by actively participating in risk assessments, workplace inspections, and accident/incident investigations.
  • Educate employees on occupational health, safety, and wellness practices.
  • Coordinate with physicians, health professionals, and government agencies as necessary.
  • Monitor and maintain medical supplies, equipment, and the clinic's readiness.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) – must hold a valid PRC license.
  • With OHNAP Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training – mandatory requirement.
  • Preferably with experience in occupational health nursing, clinic, or hospital setting.
  • Knowledgeable in occupational health and safety laws, regulations, and practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle emergencies with sound judgment.
  • Proficient in MS Office and capable of preparing medical and compliance reports.
