About the role

Talent Outsourcing Channel Solutions is seeking a talented Medical Billing and Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This is a full-time position, and you will play a crucial role in managing the billing and collections processes for our diverse healthcare clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Process medical claims and ensure accurate and timely billing to insurance providers and patients
  • Responsible for the collections process, including follow-up calls, negotiations, and resolution of outstanding balances
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of all billing and collection activities
  • Identify and address billing and coding errors to minimize denials and improve revenue cycle management
  • Collaborate with the healthcare providers and administrative staff to enhance the overall efficiency of the billing and collections processes
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare regulations, coding, and billing requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance providers

What we're looking for

  • *Medical Collector

*Qualified Medical Evaluations (QMEs)

*Handle the billing and payment processes

*Good communications skills
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical billing and collections, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting
- Proficient in medical terminology, coding, and billing practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations with patients and providers
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven track record of meeting revenue cycle management goals and targets
