Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate, self-driven, and detail-oriented Area Sales Supervisor to lead and grow key accounts and trade operations within the Southern Tagalog area, focusing on General Trade (GT) - Secondary Key Accounts (SAG). This supervisory role involves managing channel execution, trade negotiations, team leadership, and sales operations across assigned territories. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong people management, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver business results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead the end-to-end operations of the assigned GT and Regional LKA channel group.
  • Supervise, coach, and guide field teams including Account Specialists, RSAs, and Promodizers.
  • Conduct performance audits, provide regular feedback, and support capability development of field personnel.

Account Management, Trade Execution & Customer Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key account stakeholders, including principals and trade customers.
  • Build and maintain strategic client relationships; handle concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee Trading Term Agreement negotiations and their implementation.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) and Business Reviews with trade partners.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets (e.g., 100% vs. plan, 18% growth vs. YAGO).
  • Manage the order-to-collection process, including PO analysis and payment follow-ups.
  • Maintain proper account documentation, compliance, and liquidation as per policy.

Field Execution & Market Development

  • Ensure full distribution and availability of MCL or CORE SKUs across outlets based on matrix.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels; maintain Bad Orders (BO) within the 1.7% cap.
  • Plan and execute promotional and merchandising programs in collaboration with internal stakeholders (National Sales Manager, Brand & Merchandising Managers).
  • Ensure proper execution of merchandising standards (pricing, shelf presence, POS in transaction zones and regular shelves).
  • Lead and evaluate account-specific activations and trade spend liquidation.
  • Conduct regular store visits to monitor program execution and assess competitor activities.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Coordinate closely with Sales Supervisors, RSAs, Regional Managers, and Sub-Distributors to support program rollouts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance (C&C), and Merchandising to address operational concerns and align initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts, business reviews, and reports.
  • Ensure full and timely submission of quarterly PCSA trade spend liquidation.
  • Maintain CRR compliance: zero incomplete reports and a maximum of 2.0% aging over 90 days.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales supervision or key account management in an FMCG environment.
  • Relevant exposure in handling General Trade and Regional LKA, especially in the Southern Tagalog Area (Area: MuntiParlas,CaLaBaZon, MiMaRo)
  • Proven leadership in managing field teams and driving channel performance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasive selling capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel – advanced, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); familiarity with Power BI is an advantage.
  • Must know how to drive and have a valid driver's license.
  • Willing to travel and work in the field as needed.
