What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the procurement, storage, and distribution of all materials, supplies, and equipment required for the hotel's daily operations
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and implementing effective stock control procedures
  • Coordinating with department heads and vendors to ensure timely delivery and availability of necessary materials
  • Analysing consumption patterns and forecasting future material requirements
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of inventory management strategies
  • Generating detailed reports on inventory levels, usage, and other relevant metrics
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in 5 Star Property Groups highly preferable
  • 2-3 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing or storeroom operations (hospitality sector preferred)
  • Hands-on knowledge of stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), par levels and variance reporting
  • Experience with property management systems (e.g. eZee, BackOffice, Opera) and Excel
