Role Type: Full-time (onsite)

Department: Finance - Credit and Collection

Reporting to: Credit Team Leader - Account Management

Work Schedule: 5-day work week

The Credit Specialist processes and evaluates sales orders in accordance with the company's policy to minimize risk.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Assesses, evaluates, and approves customer sales orders according to the assigned level of authority.
  • Negotiates with the sales team to arrive at a consensus in addressing the status of all held sales orders using the sales force automation system (SFA).
  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Supply Chain Management, and Collection to validate payments, purchase orders, and balances for the release of sales orders.
  • Participates in continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of credit evaluation, monitoring, and collection processes.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Financial Management, Business Administration, or business related fields.
  • At least 2 years related experience in credit analysis, credit control, or a similar role.
  • Knowledgeable in credit assessment review and risk evaluation.
  • Communication and negotiation skills to interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial statements and credit reports.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple credit accounts and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in credit management.
  • Proficiency in credit management software and tools.
