A leading insurance company is seeking a Branch Head to oversee branch operations and drive sales performance across multiple distribution channels, including Bancassurance, Agency, Brokers, and other strategic partnerships. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, business growth, team development, customer satisfaction, and compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Regional/Business Head and leads overall branch management to ensure smooth daily operations and achievement of business objectives.
  • Develops and executes strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets across all distribution channels.
  • Recruits, trains, and manages a high-performing sales and operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with intermediaries, agents, brokers, and key clients to support customer acquisition and retention.
  • Monitors branch performance, financial results, and productivity metrics; implements corrective actions to ensure profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Ensures strict compliance with company policies, insurance regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Oversees risk management, including operational controls, security, and incident reporting procedures.
  • Drives customer experience initiatives, addresses client concerns promptly, and implements service improvement measures.
  • Identifies market opportunities, analyzes trends, and provides insights to guide business development and product positioning.
  • Prepares and manages the branch budget, financial reports, and operational plans.
  • Supports staff learning through ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and targeted training programs in sales, client management, and insurance products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
  • 3-5 years of leadership (supervisory or managerial) experience in branch management, insurance, or financial services.
  • Background or knowledge of general/non-life insurance products, sales processes, and distribution channels.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing sales teams.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and operational management.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and risk management practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales management tools.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Location: Claro M. Recto Ave, Davao City
