Supermarket Area Head – Produce Operations (Davao & Digos Area)

Reports To: Operations Manager / Managing Director

Job Summary:

The Supermarket Area Head will oversee and manage the operations of the produce sections across multiple supermarket branches within the Davao and Digos area. This role is responsible for ensuring profitability, maintaining quality standards, managing coordinators, and driving sales growth through effective operational management, training, marketing, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and monitor supermarket coordinators assigned to each branch to ensure proper execution of sales and operations.
  • Ensure consistent quality control and presentation of fruits and vegetables across all supermarket sections.
  • Oversee daily operations, including inventory, logistics, and timely deliveries to assigned supermarket branches.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability of produce sections.
  • Monitor waste management practices to minimize losses and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service and consistent product quality.
  • Coordinate with marketing to promote products, seasonal campaigns, and special offers.
  • Analyze sales performance, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and operational guidelines.
  • Act as the main point of contact between supermarket coordinators and management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Management, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in area management, operations, or supervisory role (produce business experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of produce quality standards, logistics, and waste management.
  • Ability to work independently, travel within assigned area, and manage multiple sites simultaneously.

Work Location: Davao City & Digos Area (covering assigned supermarket branches)

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php15, Php20,000.00 per month
