About The Role
The
Employee Relations Officer
is responsible for the handling and resolution of all employee administrative cases. The Officer provides the necessary resource in the collective bargaining between Management and the employee union as well as implements retirement and redundancy programs, as necessary.

How You'll Contribute

  • Ensures that escalated employee administrative cases are addressed and resolved within prescribed TAT.
  • Provides the administrative case Committees with case analysis and recommendation that will serve as basis for the case decision. Acts as Secretariat in monthly Committee meetings and documents proceedings.
  • Prepares case summaries and meeting presentations. Drafts show cause memos and the corresponding decision memos to implement the consensus of the Committee.
  • Provides infraction records to requesting authorized BUs for assessment of eligibility on various programs/benefits
  • Provides the necessary resource in the collective bargaining process through benchmarking, recommendations on Management proposals, cost analysis, etc. Ensures that the agreed upon CBA items are implemented upon conclusion of the CBA.
  • Organizes regular Management - Union meetings to address and resolve employee grievances and other labor related matters.
  • Implements retirement and redundancy, as may be needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/ Human Resource Management/ Legal Services or any related field
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Employee Relations
  • Knowledgeable in labor laws, due process and employee discipline
  • With good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to relate to all levels of the organization
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and assignments
