Legal Manager (Corporate, Compliance, Governance, and Special Projects & Services)
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and revise various legal documents, including contracts, company policies, resolutions, and internal memoranda
- Handle corporate housekeeping and ensure compliance with applicable laws, SEC regulations, and corporate governance standards
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions or position papers as required
- Assist in the management of regulatory compliance matters and ensure timely submission of required filings
- Provide support in special legal projects, internal audits, and legal risk assessments
- Coordinate with external counsel and government agencies on legal matters and regulatory concerns
- Advise internal teams on legal issues affecting the company's operations, services, and initiatives
- Support the implementation of internal legal and compliance policies and training programs
- Handle Data Protection Officer (DPO) matters, including data privacy compliance, coordination, and support for privacy audits and documentation
- Notarize documents and maintain compliance with notarial rules and recordkeeping
- Represent the Legal Department in meetings, contract negotiations, and on-site activities when necessary
- Engage with personnel at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed Philippine attorney, in good standing
- At least 4 years of post-bar (PQE) legal experience, ideally in corporate or in-house legal environments
- Valid notarial commission
- Updated MCLE
- Willingness to travel as needed for legal and compliance-related work
- Strong legal research, analytical, and contract review skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professionalism and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Confident in communicating and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels — from rank-and-file staff to senior managemen
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php50, Php80,000.00 per month
