
Cost Estimator

The Cost Estimator will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate cost estimates for projects under the Events, Activations, and Retail Solutions Department. The role ensures that all costings are accurate, competitive, and aligned with both client expectations and company profitability goals.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Financial Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in procurement, or related project support roles (experience in events, activations, or retail solutions is an advantage).
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation methods covering materials, labor, logistics, and other project expenses.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of cost estimation or project management software is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret project briefs, and creative concepts.
- Basic understanding of project operations, construction materials, and fabrication processes.
Analytical & Organizational Skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and reliable cost breakdowns.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain updated costing databases and vendor records.
- Capable of preparing clear, concise, and well-structured cost reports.
Collaboration & Communication
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional coordination with project managers, designers, procurement, and vendors.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Team player with adaptability and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Costing
- Prepare detailed, itemized cost estimates covering materials, labor, logistics, and other project expenses.
- Review creative concepts, technical drawings (if necessary), and project briefs to develop accurate budgets.
- Recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or timelines.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with project managers, designers, procurement, and operations to gather costing inputs.
- At certain point, liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive quotes and verify pricing
3.Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain a cost database with updated material, labor, and vendor pricing.
- Submit clear cost breakdowns and variance reports when actual costs differ from estimates.
4. Market Research & Vendor Relations
- Stay informed about industry pricing trends and sourcing opportunities.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with reliable suppliers and service providers.
