Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and comprehensive inspections of trucks to identify potential issues or needed maintenance.
  • Conduct essential services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid level checks, and brake inspections.
  • Troubleshoot and repair major components like engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Use diagnostic software and tools to identify the root cause of mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Component Replacement:sensors, pistons, and gears.
  • Implement preventative maintenance plans to ensure the long-term roadworthiness and reliability of vehicles.
  • Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.

Required Skills & Qualities

  • A strong understanding of how mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems work.
  • The ability to diagnose complex issues and develop effective repair solutions.
  • Exceptional hand-eye coordination and the physical capability to operate heavy tools and equipment.
  • Meticulousness in inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure accuracy and safety.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment and software.
  • Clear communication skills to explain issues and repairs to clients or supervisor
