Job Description

The Delivery Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers or company branches. The role ensures proper handling of items, compliance with traffic and safety regulations, and accurate documentation of delivery transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and drive delivery trucks to transport goods.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers, outlets, or warehouses.
  • Load and unload items with care to avoid damage.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the delivery truck.
  • Secure proper documentation such as delivery receipts, invoices, and trip records.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules while complying with traffic laws and safety rules.
  • Assist in basic truck maintenance and coordinate with mechanics for repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or recipients.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the logistics/operations supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • At least High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • With a valid Professional Driver's License (Restriction 2 & 3, or higher as required).
  • At least 1 year of experience as a delivery truck driver (experience in logistics/distribution is an advantage).
  • Familiarity with Metro Manila/Provincial routes and traffic regulations.
  • Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading of goods.
  • Responsible, trustworthy, and safety-conscious.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, or holidays when required.
