The Junior Infrastructure and Information Security will support the day-to-day management of IT infrastructure and contribute to the implementation of information security measures. This role involves assisting in maintaining secure and stable IT operations, monitoring systems and networks, and supporting compliance with security policies and protocols.

Core Responsibility:

Infrastructure:

  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of servers, network devices, and storage systems.
  • Monitor network and system performance to ensure reliability and availability.
  • Support hardware and software troubleshooting, upgrades, and documentation.
  • Provide technical support to users and coordinate with the IT team for issue resolution.
  • Assist with routine updates, patches, and backups.

Information Security:

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining security tools such as firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection, and monitoring solutions.
  • Conduct basic vulnerability assessments and report findings.
  • Monitor security alerts and logs for suspicious activity and escalate incidents as needed.
  • Help enforce data protection policies and assist in access reviews and user account audits.
  • Support compliance with internal IT policies and regulatory requirements.\

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or technical support.
  • Basic understanding of networking, firewalls, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and system administration.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as access control, malware, phishing, encryption, and patch management.
  • Experience with tools such as antivirus software, SIEM, or vulnerability scanners is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop in both infrastructure and cybersecurity tracks.
