JOB PROFILE:

The PR and Social Media Executive is responsible for managing our social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, etc. along with building relationships with the country's top influencers and media through creating exciting campaigns and strategies. This position requires the PR and Social Media Executive to be action-oriented and a self-starter who will be able to drive new projects independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conceptualize, develop and execute creative concepts for integrated multi-channel projects and cohesive 360-degree marketing campaigns that are consistent with our brand marketing strategy and identity
  • Manage our social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, etc
  • Create compelling and relevant content and write/edit captions related to fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and entertainment, to drive growth and engagement to our website, social media and content platforms
  • Ensure that content changes/updates are well-managed on a day-to-day basis, to deliver the most relevant and up-to-date content to customers and followers
  • Understand and utilize various analytics to gain insights on what makes compelling content and drive digital content strategy
  • Willing to learn how to create data-driven reports based on social media and influencer performances
  • Edit images and set the creative direction for shoots to be used across mobile, web and social media platforms
  • Must be able to get along and communicate with influencers to establish new and manage existing relationships
  • Write press releases
  • Contribute to events planning and execution (includes collab launches, fashion shows, media luncheons…)
  • Liaise with all departments regarding new and ongoing initiatives
  • Perform other tasks may be assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in events planning
  • Background in PR
  • In-depth knowledge of social platforms, latest trends, emerging technology and the ability to communicate ideas effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels
  • Connections with established industry bloggers, other forms of complementary media
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Graphic design and/or photography skills
  • Experience in videography is a plus.
  • Keen interest in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and pop culture and keeps abreast of current trends
  • A funky personal signature with the ability to dig ours
  • The ability to be action-oriented and self-starter
  • A team player mentality with a 'whatever it takes' attitude
  • Prior experience managing multiple projects
