Job Title: Online SEO and SEM Marketing Specialist
Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive individual with strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric mindset. We are looking for a full-time Online SEO and SEM Marketing Specialist to manage online marketing for our existing client base and assist in implementing and onboarding new clients. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn, enhance, and develop new skills and technologies, gaining valuable experience under the guidance of a seasoned professional with 20 years of industry expertise.
Job Responsibilities:
On-Page Optimisation:

Optimise website content, meta tags, headings, and URLs for target keywords.

Ensure website pages are SEO-friendly with proper internal linking, image alt texts, and structured data.

Update and manage website content, including product listings, blog posts, and pages.

Analyse site speed and performance; optimise as needed.
Off-Page Optimisation:

Develop and execute a link-building strategy to acquire high-quality backlinks.

Ensure existing backlinks and directory profiles are up-to-date and accurate.

Monitor and disallow harmful backlinks that could negatively affect search rankings.
Technical SEO:
-
Conduct website audits to identify and fix technical SEO issues.

Update existing content to improve its search engine performance.

Create SEO-optimised content, including blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions.

Working with other staff members (Website designers and Web Programmers) on implementing advanced technical on-page SEO strategies or recommendations.
Analytics and Reporting:

Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO software.

Track key metrics like organic traffic, bounce rates, conversion rates, and keyword rankings.

Produce monthly reports for each client/website.
SEM Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:

Develop engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms (e.g., posts, images, videos, product review / listings).

Curate content for email marketing existing clients to promote our brands and products and services.

Create a content calendar to plan and schedule posts in advance.
Requirements:
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
-
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, customers, and colleagues.

Proven experience in SEO and SEM, preferably in a digital marketing agency or similar environment.

Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, on-page optimisation, and link-building strategies.

Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console ect.

Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability to change.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
