About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our thriving accounting team at Philippine Community Housing Corp.' in Ayala Alabang Muntinlupa City Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting operations.

Candidates must possess Philippine citizenship to be eligible for this position.

What you'll be doing

  • Accurately recording all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts on a regular basis
  • Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Providing support to the finance team as needed

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a similar industry
  • Bachelor's degree qualification is required for this position
  • Proficient in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
  • Proficiency in both QuickBooks and Xero accounting software is required
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
