What We Look For
We're hiring an Executive Brand Strategist to lead the creative direction, strategy, and growth of our CEO's personal brand.
This role focuses on thought leadership, educational content, and audience growth — not general firm marketing.
You'll work directly with Attorney Jayson Elliott to shape, script, and manage the production of educational video content and live webinars that position him as a trusted legal authority in Estate Planning, Real Estate, and Business Law.
This is a strategic and creative leadership role, ideal for someone who understands how to translate complex legal concepts into engaging, credible, and high-impact digital content.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Creative Direction
- Lead the development of the CEO's personal brand vision, tone, and content roadmap.
- Maintain cohesive messaging that aligns with Bay Legal's mission and professional integrity.
- Plan long-term brand growth initiatives across YouTube, TikTok, and webinar platforms.
Content Development
- Plan & collaborate with the CEO to ideate and script short-form and long-form video content.
Oversee the production process of contents, (editor coordination, scheduling, and delivery)
Script writing in partnership with the CEO
- Scheduling and coordinating filming
- Collaborating with the in-house video editor for final production
- Craft storytelling angles that humanize legal topics while maintaining professional accuracy.
Webinars & Educational Media
- Design and coordinate live webinars and educational presentations.
- Manage scripting, presentation design, and production logistics for live and recorded sessions.
- Identify opportunities to repurpose webinar content into high-performing clips and posts.
Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor performance across platforms (YouTube, TikTok, webinar attendance, etc.).
- Develop insights and recommendations based on engagement data and viewer feedback.
- Continuously refine strategy for reach, retention, and audience trust.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the CEO, marketing staff, and video editors.
- Maintain a content calendar, asset library, and publishing schedule.
- Ensure all content meets legal compliance and brand standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven background in content strategy, communications, or media production, preferably within legal, consulting, or educational fields.
- Strong storytelling and copywriting skills — able to simplify complex legal ideas.
- Demonstrated experience managing YouTube or TikTok channels and content performance analytics.
- Solid understanding of brand positioning, creative direction, and audience psychology.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Notion/Trello, Canva, YouTube Studio, and webinar platforms (Zoom, StreamYard, Livestorm, etc.).
Preferred Background
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience developing executive or thought leadership brands.
- Familiarity with U.S. legal concepts, especially Estate Planning, Real Estate, or Business Law.
