Overview:

As a Trust Bookkeeper, you'll support the property management team with day-to-day accounting tasks across a large commercial property portfolio. You'll be working closely with senior staff to ensure rent, expenses, and accounts are recorded accurately and on time. This role will give you broad exposure to commercial property management while building your technical skills

Selection Criteria

  • Degree in Accounting/Bookkeeping
  • 2+ Years experience in trust accounting or bookkeeping (property exposure highly regarded).
  • Proficiency with property management/accounting software (Cirrus8 experience a bonus).
  • Confident in Excel and data entry with high attention to detail.
  • Organized, reliable, and eager to learn within a fast-paced team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable – processing invoices, receipting tenant payments, reconciling accounts, and following up on outstanding balances.
  • Lease & Rent Processing – entering lease details into the system, assisting with rent roll updates, and checking that increases or adjustments are applied correctly.
  • Bank & Trust Reconciliations – helping to reconcile trust accounts and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and audit requirements.
  • Outgoings Support – assisting with budget preparation, tenant reconciliations, and documentation for queries.
  • Reporting Assistance – preparing supporting schedules, updating spreadsheets, and assisting senior staff with monthly reporting.
  • Data Entry & Integrity – maintaining accurate records across property management systems (Cirrus8 preferred).
