Job Description

As a Product Engineer, you will oversee product change processes, technical documentation, and design control for globally distributed wellness and rehabilitation products. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external manufacturers to ensure compliance, performance, and supply continuity-delivering products that meet strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Salary: PHP 120,000 to PHP 150,000

The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related Science
• 5+ years of experience in product engineering, product development, or NPI, ideally within medical devices, or other regulated manufacturing industries
• Solid background in engineering change management, specification development, and technical drawing interpretation
• 3+ years of Project Management experience
• Ability to read, interpret, and generate product drawings and specifications
• Product sourcing experience with a solid understanding of product life cycle
• Excellent communication skills to both internal resources and customers
• Experience in product design/change control
• Experience working with FDA and/or EUDAMED regulated medical devices
• Solid foundation in GS-1 / UDI / GUDI / barcode procedures and guidelines
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics and/or NetSuite)
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Your Daily Tasks

• Execute Global External Manufacturing projects, strategy, relationship management, supply continuity, change/design control, product introduction, and cost savings.
• Engage and execute in all PH Branded products produced by external contract manufacturers, including Design Change procedures, technical files, specifications, and related documentation.
• Engage in product supply issues to resolve quickly and efficiently to ensure supply flow continuity.
• Assist in the development of processes internally to streamline workflows and create tools that make the team more efficient.
• Develop processes with external manufacturers that help align continuity with product specifications and standard business practices.
• Coordinate new product introductions in the supply chain with contract manufacturers by setting desired business system planning/demand parameters.
• Review product design and implementation for compliance with company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications (including Design Control).
• Coordinate and manage testing as required for externally manufactured PH specification products.
• Complete technical aspects (e.g., DFMEA, ISO Testing, Environmental/Conditional testing, and regulatory compliance) of Product Engineering projects.
• Assist in development and implementation of key performance metrics for contract manufacturers.
• Incorporate modeling, situation analysis, problem diagnosis, and operations analysis to support business decision-making with financial analysis.
• Assist in financial measurement frameworks, targets, and key performance metrics to drive business performance.
• Integrate supply chain best practices and continuous improvement processes to support growth and business evolution.
• Identify and resolve problems related to externally manufactured products under PH specification.
• Assist in establishing, managing, and executing inventory strategy with Supply Chain and Sourcing to drive improvements in inventory and control.
• Assure on-time delivery metrics (e.g., new product launch timelines), minimize supply disruptions, and shorten artwork or branding transition times for products.
• Participate in business meetings (representing the technical perspective) to evaluate and prioritize project opportunities.
• Handle written and verbal correspondence with external providers as well as internal stakeholders.
• Cross-train with Package Engineering to manage projects more broadly beyond product aspects.
• Engage with and learn basic packaging/labeling/graphics elements within the team to support successful design change execution.
• Assist in packaging development aspects such as labels, instructions, and regulatory markings.
• Engage in Unique Device Identifier (UDI) and Global Trade Identification Number (GTIN) allocation and development.
• Coordinate with other groups within the company to resolve issues and achieve optimal outcomes aligned with contract manufacturing strategic goals and initiatives.
• Prepare miscellaneous reports, analysis, and project management deliverables (e.g., break-even analysis, MOQ vs. EOQ analysis, ROI analysis, inventory transition cost analysis).
• Monitor emerging materials, processes, and technologies through suppliers, industry trade publications, and field awareness.
