  • The Agency Engagement Associate will be responsible for the assisting in execution, and evaluation of engagement initiatives aimed at strengthening relationships with Sun Life advisors and field managers. This role will help support the execution of programs, events, and communication strategies designed to enhance advisor performance, motivation, and overall engagement with the brand. Overall objective is to improve activity ratio on a monthly basis, number of medallions every quarter, Macaulay Members and MDRT every year.

  • Experience in event planning or corporate communications.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Canva
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry or financial services.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial services, insurance, or sales-driven environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse groups.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing competing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities (heading) / Responsabilités (titre)

  • Event Support & Coordination


    • Assist in planning and executing engagement events (onsite and online)


    • Coordinate logistics (venue, materials, registration, attendance tracking)


    • Help manage Zoom or event platforms during virtual sessions


    • Support in post-event documentation (photos, videos, reports)


    • Assist in setting up and monitoring booths during agency activities or conventions

     Creatives & Communication Support


    • Coordinate with the design team or help with the layout of simple artcards and visuals


    • Schedule and monitor social media or internal communication postings


    • Maintain mailing lists and ensure proper segmentation (per territory, branch, etc.)

     Reports & Tracking


    • Assist in consolidating attendance data, feedback, and engagement metrics


    • Maintain a tracker for events, campaigns, and participation levels


    • Help monitor MDRT and Macaulay progress updates and generate simple reports or dashboards

     Advisor Recognition & Motivation


    • Support in compiling and verifying recognition data (MDRT, Macaulay awards, contests)


    • Help create recognition posts, certificates, and award materials


    • Track milestone achievements and prepare recognition art cards

     Administrative Support


    • Maintain files, calendars, and communication archives


    • Assist in budget monitoring and liquidation documentation


    • Prepare minutes of meetings and action item trackers
