A Financial Accountant's main responsibility is to provide credible material, accurate figures, and systematic data analysis which will be beneficial to the management in making economic decisions necessary for the achievement of the company's set goals.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Ensures that all general ledgers balances match their respective subsidiary ledgers.
  • Evaluation of sales term sheets and contract clearances.
  • Attends to inquiries of co-employees regarding information GL balances
  • Handles accrual of the following:
  • Interest expenses (STL and LTL) as well as DST and DIC
  • Right of Use Asset/ Lease Liability
  • Recording of Non-operating Income and Expenses
  • Computation of Monthly Income Tax Holiday

  • Preparation of variance analysis to be used for Operating Performance Report:

  • Working Capital Loans

  • Ember Loans

  • Assist in the preparation of the company's complete set of financial statements which include statements of financial position, statements of comprehensive income, statements of equity and statements of cash flows.

  • Prepare P&L reports per Revenue segment to help management assess each operational performance.
  • Preparation of accounting schedules as part of the periodic financial closing.
  • Ensure that all accounting transactions are properly accounted for, charged to appropriate general ledger accounts, profit and/or cost centers.
  • Help in the development and implementation of the company's accounting policies and procedures.
  • Prepare other financial reports as may be required by the management or other stakeholders.
  • Provide assistance to internal and external auditors
  • Variance Analyses of Balance Sheet and P&L Accounts.
  • Management of cost centers.
  • Assisting the team in BIR audit.
  • Other duties that may be assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATION:

  • Graduated BS Accountancy.
  • CPA or non-CPA are welcome to apply.
  • With at least 2 years of experience in Financial Accounting
  • Willing to be assigned in Alabang Muntinlupa
