The IT Business Analyst will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that technology solutions meet business needs and objectives. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements, facilitating communication, and supporting the development and implementation of IT systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, define project scope, and gather detailed requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT teams.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current systems and proposed solutions.
  • Work closely with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure solutions align with business goals.
  • Participate in design sessions, provide feedback, and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation of test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Document processes, workflows, and system functionalities.
  • Support change management activities and end-user training as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering, process mapping, and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in conducting UAT and facilitating workshops is an advantage.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in specific systems or technologies relevant to the business (e.g., ERP, CRM, cloud platforms).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools.
  • Exposure to API integrations and software testing.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term
