About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Senior Lead ESL Trainer to oversee our English language training programs. This role combines advanced teaching responsibilities with leadership in curriculum development, trainer management, and program quality assurance. The Senior Lead ESL Trainer will play a key role in shaping instructional standards, mentoring ESL staff, and driving learner success across the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality ESL instruction to learners as a model for best practices.
  • Lead curriculum design, lesson planning frameworks, and learning material development.
  • Supervise and mentor ESL trainers, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development.
  • Oversee onboarding and training of new ESL staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate instructional quality through class observations and performance reviews.
  • Develop and implement assessment strategies to track learner progress and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with academic management to align ESL programs with institutional goals.
  • Organize and lead workshops, speaking clubs, and special projects to enhance learning.
  • Stay updated on emerging ESL methodologies, technologies, and certification standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for academic leadership on ESL program matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field.
  • TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/DELTA certification (advanced certifications strongly preferred).
  • 5+ years of ESL teaching experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated success in curriculum development and teacher mentoring.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong cross-cultural awareness and the ability to foster inclusive learning environments.
  • Experience with online learning platforms and digital teaching tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
