About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Junior Lead ESL Trainer to support our English language training programs. This role combines teaching responsibilities with leadership tasks such as assisting in curriculum development, mentoring trainers, and ensuring quality standards in lesson delivery. The Junior Lead ESL Trainer will work closely with the Lead Trainer/Academic Coordinator to drive student success and trainer effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging ESL lessons to learners across varying proficiency levels.
  • Assist the Lead Trainer in designing curriculum, lesson plans, and training materials.
  • Support the onboarding and mentoring of new ESL trainers.
  • Conduct peer observations and provide constructive feedback to teaching staff.
  • Monitor learner progress and help refine teaching strategies for improved outcomes.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in lesson delivery across trainers.
  • Coordinate small projects or workshops (e.g., speaking clubs, exam prep sessions).
  • Serve as a point of contact between trainers and academic management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field (preferred).
  • TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential or prior team coordination experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience with both classroom and online teaching platforms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
