We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Platform Engineer to join our data engineering team and lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about building robust data infrastructure and enabling advanced analytics across the organization.

As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines, managing data lakes and warehouses, and optimizing data workflows for reliability and efficiency. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility across various systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and build scalable data platforms using modern cloud technologies.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all layers of the platform.
  • Optimize performance of data storage and retrieval systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in data engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or platform development.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Kafka).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Php80, Php130,000.00 per month
