Job Requirements:

1. Customer-Centricity

  • Engage independently with clients to understand needs and deliver aligned solutions.
  • Develop and customize solutions that address complex customer challenges.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants in customer engagement.

2. Communication Skills

  • Clearly articulate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Deliver confident presentations and translate technical concepts effectively.
  • Coach others in refining communication and presentation strategies.

3. Problem-Solving Skills

  • Independently assess and resolve customer challenges with strategic solutions.
  • Anticipate potential issues and recommend proactive improvements.
  • Mentor team members in advanced troubleshooting and solution development.

4. Product Knowledge

  • Demonstrate expertise in data center solutions such as:
  • Retail & Wholesale Colocation, DIA, IX, Cloud Exchange, Cloud On-Ramp, and DCI.

  • Recommend scalable, high-performance, and cost-efficient solutions.

  • Guide junior consultants in assessing configurations and infrastructure design.5. Consultative Selling

  • Conduct in-depth client assessments to identify pain points and needs.

  • Customize proposals and solutions based on client objectives and business goals.
  • Mentor others in consultative selling and value-based solutioning.

6. Technical Solution Design

  • Independently design and optimize complex data center configurations.
  • Ensure designs meet performance, redundancy, and scalability requirements.
  • Lead and mentor others in advanced configuration and solution design.

7. Proposal & Presentation Skills

  • Prepare comprehensive proposals emphasizing technical and ROI advantages.
  • Deliver compelling, client-focused presentations with clarity and impact.
  • Coach junior consultants in creating persuasive proposals and presentations.

8. Additional Duties

  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Group Head or Manager to support departmental and organizational goals.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, IT, or related ICT field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience in ICT or Data Center industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle supervisory or specialist roles.
  • Solid understanding of data center technologies (cooling, power, compute, and network connectivity).
  • Proficient in Data Center product features, technical writing, and presentation.
  • Required: Data center technology certification(s) (vendor-specific).
  • Preferred: Agile project management training, communication or presentation workshops.
  • Preferably with certifications such as:
  • Certified Data Center Professional Series (CDCP, CDCS, CDCE) or equivalent.
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or equivalent.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
  • IP Networking, Cloud, and relevant ICT technology certifications.
  • Soft skills certifications (e.g., Presentation, Negotiation, Marketing) are a plus.
