Key Responsibilities

1. Purchasing & Procurement:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and consumables.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
  • Process Purchase Orders (POs) and track orders from confirmation to delivery.

2. Logistics & Delivery Management:

  • Coordinate the timely dispatch and delivery of materials to various project sites.
  • Manage fleet schedules and coordinate with third-party logistics providers.
  • Resolve delivery discrepancies and handle concerns.

3. Warehousing & Inventory Control:

  • Oversee the central warehouse operations in San Simon, Pampanga.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Implement inventory management systems to track incoming and outgoing assets.

4. Reporting & Administration:

  • Generate accurate purchasing reports, cost analysis, and inventory summaries for management.
  • Monitor expenses against the project budget.
  • Supervise junior staff Warehouse Assistant, Purchasing Staff and QA / QC to ensure standard operating procedures are followed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil/Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Logistics, preferably within the Construction industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) for reporting.
  • Solid understanding of construction materials and logistics planning.
  • Traits: Honest, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and strong leadership capabilities.
