ABOUT THE JOB

The Design Architect for the Design & Build Group shall handle the various fit-out projects of the retail stores of Sonak, including Asics, Onitsuka Tiger and ABC Mart stores. This includes site assessment, conceptual to construction phases and direct coordination with the Retail Group and Principals.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Registered and licensed Architect.

· Strong proficiency in CAD, Sketchup, Lumion and Photoshop

· An experienced professional specializing in Architecture and design (retail and commercial experience is a plus)

· Strong verbal communication skills, resourcefulness, and creativity.

· Knowledgeable of Architectural Plans, Structural Plans, Sanitary Plans, Electrical Plans, Mechanical Plans, and other trades.

· Knowledgeable of Building Code, Accessibility Law, Fire Code, and other Philippine codes related to Architecture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Collaborate and align with internal proponents, checking the designs for implementation.

· Oversee the design process from the receipt of planning requirements through to the final delivery of the design.

· Manage principal and third-party design consultants to ensure the delivery of quality plans within the agreed timeline.

· Ensures all design are code compliant (national and LGU) and are within brand & industry standards.

· Provide support throughout the construction phase and conducting of site inspections.

· Facilitate communication between brands to resolve design issues promptly.
