
Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a courteous, professional, and customer-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for hotel guests. The role involves providing exceptional guest service, handling reservations, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring smooth front desk operations that reflect the highest standard of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet hotel guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, following hotel policies.
- Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications both in person and over the phone/email.
- Answer guest inquiries regarding hotel services, facilities, local attractions, and directions.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, payments, and bookings using the hotel's reservation system.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready and issues are resolved quickly.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence at the front desk.
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Uphold hotel policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality of guest information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or related field is an advantage.
- Proven work experience as a Hotel Receptionist, Front Desk Agent, or similar role.
- Proficient in hotel management software (PMS) and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
