The Role

We are seeking an Architect to join our growing team. The role offers an opportunity to work across all project stages — from concept design and documentation to coordination and delivery — within a supportive, design-focused studio environment. You will contribute to a range of exciting projects, including boutique resorts, hospitality, mixed-use developments, and bespoke residential architecture, working closely with senior architects and directors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, documentation, and coordination of architectural projects Prepare concept presentations, plans, and 3D visualisations
  • Work with project teams through planning, documentation, and construction phases Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities as required
  • Contribute to design development and technical detailing
  • Develops detailed, innovative, sustainable and functional architectural designs, taking into consideration social, environmental and economic concerns.
  • Addresses requests for information as part of contract administration from consultants, engineers and other stakeholders involved in the building construction process
  • Evaluates and selects appropriate building materials, finishes and systems to achieve sustainability objectives Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing standards

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Architecture (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and ArchiCAD essential
  • 5-10 yrs employment experience – post graduation
  • Strong design and visualisation skills
  • Good understanding of construction detailing and documentation standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects

Preferred (but not essential):

  • Knowledge of Australian building codes and standards
  • Experience in hospitality, resort, or tourism projects
