Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and organized Import/Export Logistics Staff to assist in managing international logistics operations within our plastic manufacturing supply chain. This role supports the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, ensures compliance with trade regulations, and helps streamline shipping processes. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of international logistics and be eager to take on a supervisory role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily import and export logistics activities, including scheduling, documentation, and communication with stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate preparation and review of shipping documents: invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, customs declarations, and bills of lading.
• Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to track shipments and resolve delays or issues.
• Assist in compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and industry standards relevant to plastic materials and products.
• Support and monitor the timely clearance of goods at ports and delivery to the manufacturing site or customers.
• Maintain up-to-date records of shipments, documentation, and vendor communications.
• Assist in the analysis of logistics costs and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
• Work closely with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate planning and inventory flow.
• Support the Logistics Manager in preparing reports and audits related to import/export activities.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Export Management or Customs Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in logistics or import/export operations, preferably in a manufacturing or plastics-related industry.
• Good understanding of Incoterms, customs clearance procedures, and international shipping regulations.
• Familiarity with raw materials and finished goods used in the plastic manufacturing sector is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems is preferred (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities across departments and external partners.
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance and documentation accuracy.
• Willing to work in Calamba City, Laguna

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of HS codes, FTAs, and plastic product classification.
• Basic supervisory or team-leading experience is a plus.
• Exposure to ISO standards or quality systems used in manufacturing environments.

Salary: Php25, Php27,000.00 per month
