DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. SUPERVISORY

Supervises the following positions:

• Logistics Staffs
• Checkers
• Drivers

And sees to it that they are effective and productive through the judicious

implementation of the following functions:

• PLANNING

The task of pre-determining a course of action. Planning includes

process improvement, maintenance of inventory levels (e.g. full

goods, etc.)

• ORGANIZING

The task of arranging and relating the work to be done so it can be

effectively performed by people. Organizing includes developing the

organizational structure; delegating; and developing relationships.

• LEADING

The task of influencing people to take effective action. Leading

includes decision making; communicating; motivating; selecting

people; and developing people.

• CONTROLLING / MONITORING

The task of assessing and regulating work in progress and to evaluate

the results secured. Controlling and monitoring includes developing

performance standards; measuring performance; evaluating

performance; and correcting performance.

2. TECHNICAL

Regular and Periodic

• Ensure Distribution safety by implementing and executing a fully controlled security plan system
• Establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of full goods and keeping warehouse inventory current
• Advice and train employees on care and preservation of items received, stored and shipped; methods of handling, storing, maintaining stock and related problems
• Review records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures
• Schedule work for special and periodical inventories.
• Ensure distribution functions comply with the company policy and procedures
• Inspect physical condition of trucks and forklifts. Prepare work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of parts of forklifts and trucks
• Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between delivery and receipts control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies
• Assign duties and examines work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures
• Supervise and ensure implementation of Quality Assurance Program reference to the international standards set
• Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates
• Ensure achieving department functional objectives at maximum level of quality, at the right time, reliability and at a minimum cost
• Set and implement the following: Department yearly Objectives, financial budget, methods of transport, needed equipment, vehicles required for distribution and economical Plans
• Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow

Occasional

• Special Projects or other tasks assigned that may not be related to current function.

• ADMINISTRATIVE

• Sees to it that all approved policies, guidelines and procedures are implemented consistently in a fair and just manner.

• Sees to it that safety procedures and practices are strictly implemented.
• Sees to it that Company program such GMP, HACCP, SOP, SSOP and good housekeeping procedures in accordance with established standards are implemented.
• Ensures that all records are maintained in accordance with established standard operating procedures.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Confidential records/information, software and electronic hardware handled in the performance of the duties and responsibilities.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The incumbent performs the job in a clean, properly lighted, well-ventilated office. He is exposed to the typical manufacturing hazards such as, but not limited to, corrosive chemicals and fumes. He / she is likewise occasionally exposed to plant hazards during his visits to the plant for sampling, supplier/third party plant visit, observation or data gathering purposes.

WORKING RELATIONS

Regularly coordinates with Sales, Production Departments. This position also

coordinates occasionally with the following external parties:

• 3rd party Truckers

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education : Graduate of any degree course.

Experience : Minimum of five (5) years related experience, three (3) years in Management or Supervisory role.

Others : Computer literate and with experience or knowledge in Oracle System
