MEDMARK TRAVEL Inc. is seeking for candidate with Fluent Japanese language for the position Product and Operations Specialist (TRAVEL AGENCY) to join its team.

This position requires Fluency in Japanese Language (speaking & writing) and excellent knowledge of Japan country.

Position is open for Japanese citizens with living and working permit in Philippines, or Filipino Citizens fluent in Japanese Language (speaking & writing), who has been living in Japan and have great knowledge about Japan.

This position is a full-time office job in Manila.

Requirements and Skills :

  • Excellent knowledge of Japan country - culture, history, destinations, touristic locations, food and activities

  • Service-oriented, personable, with above average interpersonal and communication skills,

  • Self happy, positive, kind and caring person

  • Motivated, dynamic, and passionate person regarding work

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs,

  • Prepared to travel and tour guide groups travelling to Japan. Up on the need of company and our clients

  • Minimum 7 years of working experiences. Please let us know in detail regarding your working experience in Japan or with Japanese companies.

  • Proven success in a similar role in travel agency with focus on sales, operations, travel marketing, travel services outsourcing and working with the suppliers - advantage

  • Experience with building detailed travel itineraries for Groups or Luxury Individual Clientele,

  • Proactive generating of Sales Revenue (Bonus Rewards)

  • Good knowledge of requests preparation and work with international suppliers and vendors (DMC's, Hotels, Transportation companies, Airlines, restaurants etc) -advantage

  • Handle travel operations including quotations, reservations in Japan, and invoicing, and accounting

  • Negotiation with suppliers and to ensure the best rates and service quality

  • Manage client and supplier communication to ensure accurate responses are received within 24 hours

  • Compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards,

  • Work on various confirmations, and chaser queues as assigned, ensure documents are submitted in a timely manner upon receipt of client information,

  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality,

  • Highly self – motivated and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and complete tasks with minimal supervision,

  • Able to maintain confidentiality of company and client information,

  • Interest in travel, geography and new travel trends,

  • Knowledge of world destinations, cultures, locations and historical sites

  • Excellent English communication skills – verbal, presentation and written,

  • Excellent Japanese communication skills - verbal, presentation and written

  • Good organisational and problem solving skills, ability to work under pressure,

  • Experience with Microsoft Office ( Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point,etc ),

  • Excellent Time Management & Multi-tasking skills

  • University degree holder preferable as a minimum
