About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiter to join our team at Good Pastry Café' in Quezon City Metro Manila. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience. This is a full-time position that will see you work closely with our kitchen team and front-of-house staff to deliver great service.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming customers, guiding them to their table and presenting menus

  • Taking orders accurately and communicating these to the kitchen team in a timely manner

  • Serving food and drinks to customers, ensuring high standards of presentation and quality

  • Handling cash and card payments professionally and securely

  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and courteously

  • Maintaining a clean and tidy dining area, ensuring tables are reset and the restaurant is presentable at all times

  • Assisting with restocking and light food preparation tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Waiter or in a customer-facing role within the hospitality industry

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure

  • Good numeracy skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately

  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to support the wider team as needed

  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience
