The Qualifications We Seek

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in general or corporate accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Practical working knowledge of GAAP accounting standards and basic financial reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Experience using property management accounting software such as Vantaca, Buildium, or Caliber is an advantage
  • CPA certification or progress toward CPA is a plus
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven accounting environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with accounting teams, internal stakeholders, and clients

Your Daily Tasks

  • Assume ownership of the reconciliation process for Premier, Onsite, and complex CAM association portfolios
  • Prepare and manage comprehensive financial reports for multiple association portfolios
  • Review and analyze monthly financial statements for accuracy and compliance
  • Record routine journal entries and categorize transactions accurately
  • Validate the proper classification of expenses and income items
  • Verify invoice documentation and process disbursement requests
  • Manage bank loans, lines of credit, and special assessment transactions and documentation
  • Support budget preparation and forecasting activities
  • Process reserve transfers according to budgetary guidelines
  • Resolve complex reconciliation issues and discrepancies promptly
  • Provide guidance on accounting procedures and best practices
  • Identify and recommend process improvements within accounting operations
  • Fulfill auditor requests and conduct thorough investigations on line-item observations
