Position: Senior Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting:

  • Prepare and review detailed financial reports.
  • Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Support the Assistant Manager with high-level financial reporting and analysis.

Month-End & Year-End Closing:

  • Prepare adjusting entries and accruals for month-end and year-end closings.
  • Reconcile complex accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Assist in preparing closing documentation and supporting schedules.

Team Supervision & Development:

  • Mentor junior accountants and provide guidance on accounting principles and tasks.
  • Assist in training team members, ensuring they understand accounting processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Help identify training needs and process improvements for the team.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement:

  • Assist in maintaining and improving internal control processes to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal controls for accurate record-keeping and financial reporting.

Policy Development:

  • Assist in updating and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures in day-to-day accounting functions.
  • Provide feedback on policy effectiveness and suggest improvements where necessary.

Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the online gaming, hotel, or casino industries.
  2. Strong experience with gaming revenue recognition, regulatory compliance, and multi-entity accounting.
  3. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements specific to gaming and hospitality.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and experience with property management systems (PMS) and gaming management systems (GMS).
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
